Mayor William D. Euille joined the Next Realty Mid-Atlantic Team as a Marketing and Government Affairs Consultant in 2021. Mayor Euille has had a distinguished career in construction and government for decades. 

 

He served on the Alexandria City Council from May 1994 to May 2003, and was then elected Mayor of Alexandria, where he served with distinction from May 2003 to November 2015. 

 

In addition to his years as a public servant, Mayor Euille previously served on the Board of Directors for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transportation Authority (WMATA), the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority (NVTA), and the Virginia Economic Development Partnership. He is Past Chairman of the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission (NVTC), Past President of the Virginia Transit Authority (VTA), past Chairman of the Washington Metropolitan Council of Governments (COG), past President of the Virginia Municipal League (VML), a past member of the U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM).

As an Alexandria native who attended T.C. Williams High School, Mayor Euille continues to be an active member in the Alexandria and Washington, DC communities. He is a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Alexandria.
